Apple Cinnamon Steel-Cut Oatmeal

Apple Cinnamon Steel-Cut Oatmeal
yields 8 servings at 6 points plus per serving

Ingredients:

2 cups steel-cut oats (not quick oats or rolled oats)
4 cups water
5 cups milk (may use skim or almond milk)
1 large honey crisp apple cut into ½ inch pieces
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
½ teaspoon salt

Combine all ingredient into the slow-cooker and cook on LOW overnight, 7 to 8 hou
